Membership and Conduct Guidelines GTN is a professional network. To maintain high-quality interactions, all members must adhere to the following baseline expectations:
-
Eligibility & Categories: Open to any active professional within the global skills, workforce development, or TVET sectors. To broaden engagement, membership is divided into Regular, Student, Institutional, and Honorary categories.
-
Zero-Spam Tolerance: The network is for professional exchange. Direct, unsolicited commercial marketing, spamming, or self-promotion unrelated to TVET capacity building is prohibited and grounds for removal by the regional leads.
-
Constructive Exchange: Members are encouraged to share regional challenges, pilot project results, and instructional materials freely, maintaining a supportive tone.
-
Volunteer Recognition: To sustain momentum and motivation, a formal mechanism is integrated to regularly highlight and recognize outstanding volunteer service and exceptional professional contributions.
Legal and Charter Framework
-
No Legal Liability: As an unregistered, volunteer-driven body, GTN, its Convenor, and its Focal Points assume no legal or financial liability for the employment outcomes, project executions, or independent collaborations formed between members over the network.
-
Charter Ratification and Evolution: This charter is a living document. It is designed to be lean and adaptable. Revisions, additions, or structural pivots can be proposed by any Regional Co-Lead and ratified by a simple consensus of the core virtual committee via asynchronous vote.
